Landscaper

Landscaper Blue Mountains

Looking for a landscaper in the Blue Mountains who actually understands the terrain? That’s us. We’re based in Lawson and we’ve spent years working on properties right across the mountains — steep blocks, sandstone outcrops, clay soil, frost pockets, the lot. If you’ve been chasing quotes from landscapers who don’t seem to grasp why your block is more complicated than a standard Sydney backyard, it’s probably because they don’t work up here regularly. We do, every week, from Mt Victoria all the way down to Glenbrook.

As a landscaper, our job is to take whatever you’re working with — a sloped, overgrown block, a blank canvas after a build, or a tired garden that hasn’t been touched in years — and turn it into something that actually works for how you live, while holding up to the conditions the mountains throw at it. That means proper drainage planning from the start, because a badly drained mountains garden turns into a bog the first heavy rain event. It means retaining walls built to actually hold, not just look good for a season. And it means choosing hard landscaping materials that won’t crack or shift when the ground freezes and thaws through winter.

We handle the full scope of landscaping work: paving, decking, retaining walls, garden bed construction, turfing, mulching, drainage, edging, and full-scale yard transformations. A lot of our work comes from people who’ve bought older mountains homes with gardens that were never really designed — just added to bit by bit over the decades — and want a proper plan pulled together that makes sense of the whole block.

We also do a good amount of work for people building or renovating, coming in once the builders are finished to sort out the outdoor space that’s usually left as a mess of compacted dirt and leftover materials. Getting a landscaper in early, even just for a chat about drainage and levels before the build’s finished, can save a lot of headaches later.

Sloped blocks are something we deal with constantly up here — genuinely flat land is the exception rather than the rule in the mountains. We’re comfortable designing and building on grades that would stump a landscaper more used to flat suburban blocks, using terracing, retaining and clever level changes to actually make the space usable rather than just steep and awkward.

We keep our approach fairly relaxed and straightforward. We’ll come out, walk the block with you, listen to what you’re actually after, and give you honest advice — including telling you if something’s not going to work, or if there’s a cheaper way to get a similar result. No pressure, no upselling things you don’t need.

If you’ve got a project in mind and you’re after a landscaper who properly understands Blue Mountains conditions, from Mt Victoria to Glenbrook, give us a call and we’ll get something organised.
