Lawn mowing up here tends to be seasonal, and we work around that rather than sticking to a rigid schedule that doesn’t match how mountains grass actually grows. Spring and early summer, growth can go mad after a good run of rain, and lawns that were fine a fortnight ago suddenly need cutting again. Come winter, growth slows right down, especially at the higher end of the mountains around Blackheath and Mt Victoria where frosts are more frequent. We adjust our visits to suit, rather than turning up when your lawn doesn’t actually need it (or leaving it too long when it does).
Our regular mowing service includes mowing, edging and a proper tidy-up afterwards — we’re not just running a mower over the top and leaving clippings everywhere. We’ll blow down paths and driveways, tidy up around garden beds, fences and trees, and leave the place looking like someone’s actually put effort in. For blocks with steep sections or tricky access, which is pretty common up here, we’ve got the gear and the experience to handle it properly and safely.
We also do one-off mows for people who’ve let things get away from them — maybe you’ve been away, had the place on the market, or just haven’t had the time. No judgement here, mountains life gets busy and lawns are usually low on the priority list. We can come out, assess what’s needed, and get it back under control, sometimes over a couple of visits if it’s really overgrown.
A lot of our lawn mowing clients also use us for the surrounding garden work — hedge trimming, garden maintenance, the odd bit of tree pruning — so it’s easy to bundle things together if you’d rather have one reliable local team handling the whole outdoor space instead of juggling different people for different jobs.
If you’re after regular lawn mowing in the Blue Mountains, or just need a one-off tidy-up before visitors arrive or a house goes on the market, get in touch. We’ll pop out, have a look at the block, and sort out a schedule and price that actually makes sense for your lawn.
